Can I combine Virtuemart tempaltes with others?

I want to add the Hot Joomla virtuemart e-commerce template to the Hot Cars template. Can I do this or do I have to install the virtuemart template separately? Any help would be appreciated. I already have installed the Hot Cars template and it's up and running. I want to add e-commerce quickly and easily.

You can always add virtue mart plug-in no mater witch template you use.

Thanks for your help. I was hoping I could nmake use of the Hot eCommerce temaplate and tie it into my site that is using the Hot Cars template.
