Changing Logo Size was created by aimdizzle
Hello,
I tried to follow the instructions put forth in this blog post but it doesn't seem to help: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/blog/joomla-t...with-your-logo-image
If I am trying to enlarge the logo to take over the space of the company name and slogan (the logo will have the specific font/design we need), are there additional steps I need to take for this template?
Thanks

Please explain what goes wrong. What do you mean with "doesn't seem to help"?
Could you post link to the site? Is it live?

The logo stays the same size, I've played around with a few things but only manage to mess up the formating of the top menu.
I'll put the site up live temporarily now:

One thing I did notice is that when I go to adjust the layout.css, the logo dimensions seem like they should already accommodate the logo I'm trying to use, this is the setting and I'm trying to use a logo that is 115 x 300:
.logo {
height:115px;
width:475px;
float:left;
}
So essentially the only file I'm adjusting is the index.php in the template folder and it does not affect the logo size.

What you change in CSS will not affect the logo size. It just affect the container where logo is placed. Don't forget to change the size of the logo image as well.

I had changed the logo image- or so I thought for some reason the online editor was not actually saving the changes.
By downloading the file locally and re-uploading I was able to get the size adjustment to work.
Thanks for your help.
