TECH STORE Template question

Good Evening,

I purchased the "Tech Store" Joomla template for $40. I believe it is installed properly but when I "preview" the frontpage I only get a basic site. It doesn't look anythink like the "demo site" I saw online. Am I suppose to build the site from scratch and not get any sort of "template"? I thought I just changed the information in the Template to reflect my own site. Please help me better understand.

Make sure that you installed HotStart properly, per instructions. Please click Install Sample Data button during installation and don't change wa89g_ database prefix.
