After some research, I could install eCommerce successfully.

But, the template is not displayed in the template list when I logged on to Joomla admin site.

How to activiate eCommerce site? what are the steps that I should do to see the installed eCommerce? after successful installation?

I followed exactly as explained, on you site. For your information, the details gave on the website are not enough to install the eCommerce.

More steps are required, thats why many people are posting about installation issues.

I am preparing a PPT / document how to install eComeerce, until they see live page. That will help many people.

I had installed as I explained in the attached document(in my first message). I could install it (after applying my techniques). After installation, the page did not appeared. when I typed my URL in the browser.

The reason was I had placed all the unzipped items to 'public_html/hot' folder
So, when I type ' www.mysite.com/hot ', I am able to see the installed page.

So, what I am doing is, I am importing all the installed file from 'hot' folder to direct root (public_html).

Is that correct? Or if I import all the files like that, will any of joomla / VirtueMart installed itesm get effected?

Thanks,
Ram

Yes , files from hot_start .zip file need to be extracted and copied into website root folder.
