Component not found? was created by dmuller
www.activepestcontrolsolutions.com
I built this site some months ago (based on hotcars) and all was fine, I just went to re-visit the site to check a few things and noticed that on every other page than the homepage I get an error:
"404 - Component not found
You may not be able to visit this page because of:
an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
a mistyped address
you have no access to this page
The requested resource was not found.
An error has occurred while processing your request.
Please try one of the following pages:
Home Page
If difficulties persist, please contact the System Administrator of this site.
Component not found"
Any ideas what may be happening as I haven't seen anything like this before?
Thanks in advance.

It look's like SEF configuration. Turn off SEF and see it it gets any better.

That worked, thanks.
Is SEF possible with Hot Cars?

Of course it is, but you must have proper .htaccess file in your Joomla folder. Try renaming default Joomla's htaccess.txt file to .htaccess
Your host must be 100% compatible with Joomla. Ask them about it.
