menu modules won't show up in the front page

i recently purchased the hot_cars16 template from your site. the template is installed on joomla 1.7. i was trying to
create module menus on the right side and a left side of a front page.. i went to the module manager and created modules and chose their positions left and some
modules right... however, nothing shows up in the front page... you can see the website your self 209.126.161.90:8080/ can you help me on this issue.

this is for a non-profit organization and they need the website to be up soon

Sorry, but link that you gave 209.126.161.90:8080/ is not opening. I checked it several times.

thank you for your reply... sorry i was changing the hosting company and therefore, i couldn't respond.
now only the Who's is online module appear in the front page.. any custom menu module i create won't show up..

here is how i created the custom menu modules,, extensions> module manager >new > menu > typed the menu name > selected position > menu assignment all pages > published.. nothing shows up...
