Connection timed out error after hot start install was created by rdspratling
I am hosting the site on GoDaddy. Cleaned out everything in the root folder as directed, executed hot start instructions. Install interface executed fine, but once I clicked the Site link or Administrator link, i get the following error message:
The connection has timed out
The server at dev.lenwoodtbrooksministries.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
As you can see, web address is dev.lenwoodtbrooksministries.com - files are in root if you need to troubleshoot. Is this just a problem with GoDaddy?
For reference, when I first started, I did the autoinstall of Joomla from Godaddy. I created a sub folder and everything worked fine, but I wanted the site to be at the root url and not have the sub folder in it. So I erased everything on the hosting space, even the old db, then uploaded files to the root. Everything seemed to be working great, until after install process was complete, I keep getting message above.

You can disregard this. The site is now working somehow. Must have been some delayed setting that hadn't transferred.

That cold even problem with your internet connection , or just server temporal overload.
