replacing pics in accordian

this is odd,
This morning I had no problem going to modules>accordion>mod_hot_accordion and clicking Content Slot 1( or 2,3,4) and selecting a new photo.

But now I'm on my laptop and everything freezes when I click 'Insert' in the upper right hand corner after selecting proper photo

Any ideas?

What "Insert" are you talking about, there is no such option u mod_hot_accordion settings?

Yeah, I'm not sure where I went off track.

Initially, there were toggle bars that were labeled 'Content 1' 'Content 2' etc, but now when I attempt to edit the accordion windows I get a long righthand column with all content windows (1-10) open.

1) went to module manager
2) went to HOT accordion
3) clicked 'select' under image file
4) chose proper photo
5) clicked 'insert' and .... NOTHING

???

This is version for Joomla 1.6. After clicking INSERT, the path to the image should be inserted into the field. Is it?

If you are running SEF without mod_rewrite, please change it to SEF with mod_rewrite (rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess in Joomla root folder), or disable SEF in global configuration.

If it doesn't help, please give us your link.

Was not able to disable SEF, got the message:
Could not save data. Error: Could not write to the configuration file

YES, the photo name appears in the proper window, but it fails to be inserted when I click 'insert'... the entire window simply freezes. I then need to retype 'theeastside.co/administrator' to get out of the graphic insert window

Then make configuration.php file writable and try again.
