Custom HTML module - no custom output colour! was created by bins
I ahve created a custom HTML module to add some copy on the front page.
When I format the size & colour in the custom output box, it does not show in the website.
Is there a setting I am missing?

Check "Text Filtering" tab in global configuration, all options should be set on "no filtering". Where is that module on your page?

check editor plugin settings to disable any mean of code optimization from editor.
This is rendered(first paragraph):
<p><span style="font-family: impact,chicago; color: #00ff00;"><strong><span style="font-size: 24pt;">So, You Want To Be An Entrepreneur - Do you Have What It Takes?</span></strong></span></p>
so odd style comes from html directly - article content.
