Main Menu showing as a list

Hi, I didn't publish the menu for this site at first but now they want to have more pages and a menu. So I published the menu but now it's showing up as a vertical list. Anyone have some advice? Thanks in advance.

GO to menu module settings and set menu tag id = nav

I purchases Hot Sky this morning and my menu is still a list even when I put the = nav in the menu tag id. Any other fixes to this problem. Site url is joomlademo619.com/llg3/jupgrade/

.nav > li, #nav > li{
float:left;
}

Thank you Ivan that worked but menu does not look the same as the demo. Can you please explain to me how to get that bold black font with the line underneath.
