Position of modules was created by Edi
I have installed Hot Relief with Joomla 1.6. and 1.7.
It works fine, but there is a problem with the position of the modules. "Left" and "right" does not work for me. Instead of "left" I can use "position-7". This is a definition I used for another template.
I uninstalled the template with the definition "position-7", but still "left" works only with "position-7".
I reinstalled Hot Relief without success. I have no idea where the settings of the positions are stored.
Does anybody know more?

There is no "position-7" in our templates. Templates have menu assignment(when you enter template parameters), to use left in Hot Relief you must have Hot Relief active for that menu item, and to have an module in left position. In joomla 1.5 it maters only that module position have certain name, but in 1.6 and 1.7 left which is common name in Hot Relief is not the same thing like left in some other template.
From what you say that "module works in position-7" it's certain that you don't use Hot Relief for that menu item.

I installed now also the data dump...
And I learnd using a link from it that there are two different maps of the positions for modules.
One is at:
demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/index.php?template=relief
The other one is at:
demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/relief16/ind...ons/module-positions
The second one uses "position-7" etc. But this is not integrated in the template.
