Error in PHP file was created by Patsyish
Hello,
I've installed the free Hot Template but cannot access the index.php by following the instructions on how to get to the site once it's installed w/the demo content: http://www.your_site_address.com/joomla/index.php (I did indicate my site address and folder location which is how I found out I had a problem)
My hosting provider uploaded a .php file and that file was accessible; they said there is a problem w/the .php file I uploaded as part of the free template package.
Any help or advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Patsy

Hi Ivan,
I'm using the free template because I wanted to practice a few things before putting them into play on the restaurant and destinations templates I already have.
I got all the way through the installation w/out problems then when it came time to install w/the demo data, I just kept getting errors and could not access it at all even though I could see the index.php in the list of files. This is the link I was using: www.planetpatsy.com/newjoomla2012/index.php
Thanks!

Screen shots attached showing files in file manager and address used to try to access the index.php file.
Thanks so much for your kind assistance!

Hi Patsy,
The free template does not come with HotStart installation that's available with all premium templates. Instead, you can install it using standard installation method (normal template installation within Joomla).
So, install clean Joomla and then install template in it, use hot_relief15.zip for Joomla 1.5, or hot_relief16.zip for Joomla 1.6, 1.7 or 2.5.
