Drop Down Menu Conflicts with Accordion menu

It seems that I can not have a drop down menu and an accordion menu active at the same time.

I tried the Sparky dropdown and accordion and neither will work properly together so I tried a different menu module and I get the same problem, they will not work together.

The jquery no conflict plugin is published and I tried various versions of jquery with no resolution. How do you run a drop down menu and an accordion menu on the same page in Sparky??

I don't see accordion menu on that page?

when I activate the accordion menu the top menu opens all the way up and get stuck and it is like that on all pages, so I switch it back to the standard Joomla menu.

It's probably jQuery conflict. Check your source code and make sure you don't have multiple instances of jQuery references.

I have everything else that has jquery running in no conflict mode
