How to update Sparky? was created by AndriaD
Hi. I just discovered Sparky a few days ago at Joomla24; downloaded the one posted there, which was .98 or however you describe your versions. While working with it, I discovered a small glitch -- when I try to delete a row, it tells me "The address wasn't understood -- Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (javasctipt) isn't associated with any program." I can see that's a typo, but I have no clue where that typo resides in Sparky's code.
So, I came here, to try and find out; I find there is an updated version, but I see no instructions whatever for updating; my Joomla tells me that all my extensions are up-to-date, so it's not updatable internally. I also find no "search" in the forum whatever, so I cannot search for the items that most interest me. It appears to be Kunena forum, which I know does have a search feature, so I'm not sure why I'm not seeing it.
So, I guess my main questions are, 1) how do I update Sparky to this newer version, which hopefully contains no typos in its code, and 2) why isn't there a search in this forum, so that users can avoid asking questions that have already been answered? I'm sure I'm not the first to ask either about the typo or updating Sparky, but how in the world would I find either thread(s), without a search feature?
Thx much!

You can just overwrite template files.
You can get latest version :
www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/sparky-joomla
Under Get Sparky
Forum has search option , scroll up , start of gray area of this page "Search Before Posting"

Ok, thanks; I had already downloaded it, but wasn't sure about how to do the update. I appreciate the tip! And sorry, about the search thing; I guess I was looking for a button or something. *shrug* Thanks for the cool software!
Thx!
