You need two menu for Turkish and English, or one menu module set to language "All" but to have double menu items one for each language. Almost all joomla component have option to set language for which to display it , default value is "all", so watch out how you set that

hi Ivan
thank you for the reply. i have already done what you said:
i have tried assigning menus in the assignment tabs and specifying each template to a certain language. i found out what the real problem is although i do not have an answer for it. Here is the problem:
i have 3 menus: 1- english 2- turkish 3- main menu
he first two have all the parts they should have and are assigned to support the right language. my english template and it menu and contents work just fine without any problem. the problem arises when i change the language to turkish. the page that turkish shows is the default page of the template that is set to default and not the one that shows the Turkey flag and is assigned to turkish menu and content.
could you please help me with this i have checked almost every thing that i thought was wrong and still no result.

yes Ivan. the main menu is set for all languages. if i change the turkish menu and its items to all languages all is fine and the menus and content are visible after selecting turkish language for the web site.
normally i do the same things i did here with pre-designed template or the ones i design myself and all would be fine. the main menu would be set to all but the website would show me the contents of languages as it should an the menus assigned to languages. but i couldnt get this website to do the same.
does this have anything to do with the fact that im using sparky? what am i doing wrong here? is there anything specific that needs to be set?

No that has nothing to do with sparky.
In main menu module "module assignment" check if you did set menu assignment to appear for both versions of menu items in other menus.
