Adding a background image to an article

I would like to add a background image to my startpage article.

I am trying to use:
HD-Background Selector module from here:
www.hyde-design.co.uk/free-joomla-extens...-background-selector

I have set the ID to the ID I set in the layout designer: "content" but that doesn't work.

How can I get this to work?

I did it on the mainpage:
www.pub-burger.ch

Using some html in the article, but that is a pain and my client will not be able to easily edit his content easily.

any ideas?

There is no option for that in joomla by default. Maybe you can find some extension, if not and its crucial to your client we can do some custom payed job.
