WP - Menu type settings not chaning was created by oweck
Hello, i woul like to thank you for the Sparky Fw....I use it mostly for Joomla 2.5 projects, but now I have to implement website on WordPress...
I think everythink is OK, with the instalation and fully working, but there is one bug or error in the WP administration vs frontend.
When I am in Sparky Options -> Menu settings -> I can choose the menu style/type (like always in joomla), but after saving the type it always goes back to DropDown menu...so I think this is not big problem, because i can style it to look as I wish, but in the front end, it looks still like normal <li> menu...There is also no repsponsivity in this menu (still li) after cahnge of widht of the browser window...i would like to have the Select box menu aftere changing the width...
You can see the problem here: www.skladroid.cz
Is there a way to solve this problem please?
Thank you in advance...
Petr

Hi Petr,
Sorry for late answering. First of all, I have to say you created a great website with Sparky! Regarding your question... What kind of menu you have? It should be set to Drop-down menu (even if you don't have submenus) in order to see the conversion to the select box on smaller screens.
Regards
Milos

Hello Milos, thank you for answer and for the praise...the Menu settings is set on Drop-down menu - no other i can use, because of the saving issue (when i try to make another type of menu it always changes to Drop-down - immedialtely after savind the change)...but...as you can see, the menu is not chaning to Select box...should I have to put somewhere some JQuery a or script code? I will look around in few days, for my solution, but if you know some solution via sparky, let me know please...
Thank you, Petr

Hi Petr,
Please edit this file:
/wp-content/themes/sparky_framework/js/responsive_menu.js
You should change all instances of ul.nav with ul.menu. Also, value 981 represents screen width in pixels when the menu will be converted into a button. You can change this value if you want.
