I have a banner image that needs to be at the top of the page and sits behind the logo. i have it on the site which I had originally done in dreamweaver, but am not able to seem to get it to work in Joomla.
If you look at the original site, www.rocknroar.ca , you will see what I am trying to do.
I had managed to get the image to sort-of show up, but there was a white block behind the logo covering the banner.jpg image.
Thank you again for all of your help with this.

For image itself I see no problem. Do you think of some other elements???

Sorry, it has taken me so long to get back to this. I think I have determined that when I make the container white in the sparky framework, that covers up the header background which I am trying to have showing.
Is there a way to only have the white show up underneath the top section? so that the white only shows up in the area where the content is and the menus?
Thank you again for your assistance.

Add this to template_css.css:
.sparky_full.headerbg > .container{
background: transparent!important;
}
.sparky_full.headerbg > .container{
background: transparent!important;
}
