Search Engine Friendly URL

I activated SEF and rewriting and it made my URLs much better; however, on my home page content, it still has "about-hot-bokeh" in the URL. For example, my URL is www.website.com/about-hot-bokeh/webpage.html .

How do I remove that from the few articles that I'm referencing?

That is defined by menu item alias or article alias if shown as category item. You need to edit alias in menu item settings.

I can't find it anywhere. All the alias lines are correct. The alias was used in the webpage.html portion of the URL and even changed them to make sure. Those are working ok.

It is only the few articles that are assigned to the -home page category. The other menu items and locations are working fine. They use the URL of www.website.com/faq or www.website.com/contact . Again, just the ones that are home page articles that have the /about-hot-bokeh/ additional directory put in there too.

'about-hot-bokeh' is alias of "SERVICES" menu item. You can not see it because its type is external URL. You need to change its menu type so alias would show. Chnege it that return type to External url
