Hot start installation question

I just purchased the Hot Vortex (1.6) for Joomla and tried installing using the Hot_Vortex16_Documentation instructions

My Joomla installation on my desktop machine was created via GoDaddy's one step Joomla installation. If I read the following Hot Vortex installations correctly, it says that I cannot use the Hotstart Installation process in my case, right?

HotStart Installation
Install template and create a copy of our demo on your server. It's a fresh Joomla installation along with all content and extensions shown on demo. Don’t try to install it over existing Joomla!
