Hello all,

can you please let me know how you can make the top level menu item (0) on the Hot Menu non clickable?

I am using Joomla 3.1.5 and Hot Chameleon on a site rebuild from Joomla 1.5 to 3.1.5

Site url: uminx.com/waikanaedance

If we look at the About Us top menu link - it is clickable, but goes to HOME - even though I applied the same principle on the old joomla 1.5 site to make the link unclickable. I did this by making the button be an external link and adding no external URL in the link field?

This does not seem to be working on joomla 3. I have also tried using Menu Heading, and Text Separator as alternatives, but the top menu styling gets messed up!

can you please advise the best way to make the top level menu item non clickable?

Thanks

Eno

Use menu item type external URL, ans set URL to:
Code:
http://javascript:void(0);

that's great Ivan, top level still looks like a link but clicking it does nothing! and still styling in the funky hot menu - much appreciated :)
