Search question

Hi,

I've had a look at the Smart Search component of my site and maybe it's because I'm new to this, but I can't see how to make a search that looks at 4 criteria like the "Quick Search" on the top left of the main page at www.grandamericanadventures.com/ . (this may not be a Joomla site)

In my case, the pop down lists would include choices for "tour type", "region", "difficulty", "duration". Presumably the terms the search would find, would be in the body and or meta data of the articles concerned.

It may be that I'm looking in the wrong place but any comments or help would be appreciated.

That is 3rd party component(if joomla) or custom made site, we can not help you on that.

Would you be interested to do a custom search module?

For my purposes I would want to be able to control: the title, the label/names of 4 or 5 fields, and the criteria in the drop downs, of those fields.

The module could search on the text content of the Meta Description and Meta Keywords fields of the article.
