When I use the search box on top of the template the results get displayed below the fold, and I have to scroll down to actually notice that there are any results. Is there a way to hide the components that display on top of the page when I hit search? (modules on position user1, advert1, advert2, advert3, and advert4)

Thanks,

Define search page menu item is some hidden or any menu and use module assignment not to display modules on that page

I have the same problem and i did the "search page" included in menu and it is set withought homepage modules. But if you use search window in a header on homepage it still shows results belov the modules of homepage, what doesnt happens in demo page here.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong.. Site is www.sajko-turizem.si (header search window)

So you have explicit menu item that points to search page?

I have that on www.sajko-turizem.si / Page is shown in:

Topmenu > Ostalo > Iskalnik

No modules are chosen there. But using header search window allways show modules assigne to the page, where you use it. If I use it on homepage, all modules for homepage will be shown, if I use it on "akcijska ponudba", module of that page (google maps) will be shown...

But I would like search result to be seen directly after header with no modules.

Go to menu manger and check menu item id of Iskalnik then go to module manager, find your search module , open its settings and set "Set ItemID" to that number.
