New aliases, double content

Our site was hosted on a windows server and the urls were in latin. Now our site is on a linux server and the urls are in cyrillic. After seo optimization the old latin urls are still listed in google and when i try to open an old link, it opened under the home page, there is no 404 error for no existing page.
The site is good indexed in google and I worry about this double content. I put a canonical plug-in, but the old urls have also this tag.
Is this a template bug? What can I do?

If you use basic joomla SEF functionality then you need to reset alias for all menu items. If some menu item type does not have alias property , switch type to some that does have , edit alias filed and then revert back to original menu item type.

How to reset the alias?

So when you enter menu item setting below title you have alas field. That filed is not visible for all menu item type and then you do work-around described in my prev post

I get it now.
But I have only one menu type external link that didn`t have an alias.
