Problem with installing a destination template

Hi.
I am new on this.
I really need some help with installation a joomla template .
After i installed it on localhost, when i try to see the website in front, it appears me, but i have some line with erros. I get this message:"Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\libertytours\modules\mod_hot_scroller\mod_hot_scroller.php on line 44"
It tells me many lines.
Whaere is the problem. I cannot solve it alone....i think...

So turn off strict standards that is for developers, go to global configuration and level down error reporting level to "System Default" if already "System Default" set it to none
