Change background color of bottom + favicon

Hi,
I'm not sure if this issue has been answered before, but please help me:
1/ How can I change background color of bottom?
2/ How can I make my favicon appeared on my site?

In layout.css at bottom:

.footer4 {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #292929;
}

For favicon:
