Install Problem - hot_destinations31_hotstart was created by quigley595
Hi folks,
I may have no right to ask this question, sine my subscription has expired earlier this year, but this is the first time I have tried to do this install.
My problem is that the install of the hotstart just hangs on the first screen.....
The file I am using is: hot_destinations31_hotstart.zip, and I have extracted this file to the root directory (it is a sub-domain), then tried to do the install. I have attached a picture to show you.
Since this install dod not work, as a test, I deleted all the files and directories, and installed Joomla 3.x into this same directory.... this install worked OK (but of course, it is the template hotstart I want).
Do you have any suggestions?
regards
Mike

Possible reasons:
1. Some files failed to copy if you coped via ftp, upload whole zip and unpack it using hosting file manager
2. Permissions forbid file manipulation for installer, folder should have CHMOD 755 and files 644 , also files should be owned by web process account in Apache called 'www-data'
3. Server does not meet joomla minimal requirements
