content without designation, scroller, and adverts

I have designation and scroller on home page only, but when I click on a story on the home page that is uncategorised, it is supposed to appear on a page without the scroller and designation but it doesn't.

Do you mean you wnat to show them or not?

You could try to append ?itemid=<id of some menu item that sows them as you want> to url

what i mean is that i want to show the article on a page by itself without the designation or scroller

I could do dreamdestinations.travel/?option=com_content&view=article&id=45 , but that is not search engine friendly.

Problem is that joomla will take module assignment settings from closest parent item that has menu item. There is module called advanced module manager that lets you do module assignment by part of url. Onlt think like that could help you achieve what you want.
One more solution is to have hidden menu you wll not show but you will use it to define assignment by its menu items.
