Vertical space between footer and user5-8

Hi guys,

When I unpublish the module in the user9 position (which was the "Places you should see" article in the demo) I get the footer stick with the user5-8 modules, no spaces in-between.
Please check the image attached.

I got also the user10 and user11 modules unpublished.
How can I add this space ?
