Installed with hot_destinations5x_hotstart.zip but get 404

Installed hot_destinations5x_hotstart.zip but get 404 every time (have installed and deleted 3 times)

Any ideas?

Hello,

You have a problem with SEF links on your website. Your server should be configured to display Joomla links properly. The configuration depends on the server type, so the best thing to do is consult your web hosting provider.

If you want to try to fix this yourself, you can try to rename the file "htaccess.txt" to ".htaccess" (in main Joomla folder). If it doesn't work, you can enable/disable the Joomla SEF links in the global configuration in System > Global Configuration > Site > SEO. There you can try enabling or disabling the parameters "Search Engine Friendly URLs" and "Use URL Rewriting".

I was setting up another new site, so installed it on that and it worked perfectly. Only difference I can see was that I used php8.4 and first and 8.3 on the one that worked.
