I've been hitting my head to try to figure out why my store locator doesn't work in any IE and after turning all the modules off, I turned this template off and voila, everything works. What would it be? If you run

www.selectbride.ca/index.php?option=com_...&view=map&Itemid=155

in any version of explorer, it won't show the map.

When I run f12 it gives me the following errors

SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'firstChild': object is null or undefined
main.js, line 456 character 26
SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'firstChild': object is null or undefined
main.js, line 456 character 26

When I use any standard Joomla template, no error.

Thanks in advance.

I tried reinstalling the template, so that didn't work. Just to let you know I did the hot install option so it looked like the demo.
www.selectbride.ca/index.php produces

SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'set'
mootools.js, line 23 character 10

If you have problems with component com_storelocator you should ask the component's developers for help.

I've sent him a support request also. My question is why would this interfere with your template only in IE? Is it the way it's calling a loading event or something?

Ok, the only conclusion I could come up with is a IE CSS issue. If you get a chance, look at this link.
demo.sysgenmedia.com/index.php?option=co...tegory_3=0&Itemid=53

If you right click, view source, it's making an IE call to a CSS file to make it compatible. Keep in mind the template that is being used. How can we adapt this to your template? I would hate to look for another template after paying good money for this one.

His map works in IE, mine doesn't with your template so I need a resolution please.

I would rather say that that is script issue:

SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'set'
mootools.js, line 23 character 10
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'set'
mootools.js, line 23 character 10

Maybe you have two references to mootools.js, and wrong one wins
