In what module position is shopping cart

Hi, I am currently using hot Photoportfolio and need to change my site over to an e-commerce template. I am looking at cosmetics, furniture, & Fashion store templates to see if one will work for me. I need to have a template with enough modules in upper right of site to position 1. login 2. language flags and 3. shopping cart link. Also would be nice to also have search bar as well. Of the three, the cosmetics template has the most going on in the upper right corner. Plus it appears to be the only one where the logo is in a module rather than part of the template. Am I correct here?

I see that Cosmetics template has login and cart summary at top, but they do not appear to be within module "top[xhtml]" rather, right below it. Are these modules? Are they in top[xhtml]? Or, are they part of the template (if that is possible)?

Also, unrelated question: Should I be able to use these three templates with another e-commerce platform? I am currently looking at Hikashop which they say can be used with any template. Thanks for your help.

We created all VirtueMart based templates to work with VirtueMart. How and will they work with another e-commerce platform we don't know. You will need customizations of template and/or the e-commerce platform for sure.

What are your rates for template customization if I need a change that is out of my league? I like look of Hot Furniture, but want extra modules in upper right corner similar to look of Hot Cosmetics. Would be ideal to have an extra module similar to "User9" one right above user9 current position and one right below it. Thanks

That are modules and they are in module position "top".
For custom jobs use "Report To Moderator"
