can't edit virtuemart

cant update anything in virtuemart. one of messages i get after I tried to edit.

What is your Joomla and VirtueMart version? It's recommended to update to Joomla 2.5 and VirtueMart 2.0.2.

I downloaded the 2.5 hotstart and it has virtuemart 2.0.2

That is problem related to updating, some file(s) doesn't correspond to database field... Search VM forums for help

i never updated i just downloaded the version with joomla 2.5 and virtuemart 2.0.2 from this website.
