I need more explicit details on how to complete the last step of manual setup.

How does one...

"type "nav" in Menu Tag ID of the top menu module (position User3). Menu Class Suffix should be empty. Menu style should be set to "list"."

Using joomla 1.7

I can't seem to find Menu Tad ID anywhere?
Is top menu actually a module?
Menu Class Suffix? Stye?

Where can I get to these parameters?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link and quick response. I guess I must have missed a step because when I go in to Extensions > Module Manager > I do not see "Top Menu (Select position > user3)" anywhere on the list. As per image file attached.

You did not install HotStart. Please install it as per PDF instructions. Otherwise, you must create a new menu module and set parameter as per link I gave you.

Yes I have been trying to install this template without using the HotStart.

So, I created a module of themenu type called topmenu with position user3. In the advanced parameters I found Menu Tag ID and placed "nav" there. I could not find a place that asked for style so I put list in the module class suffix box, is that right? picture attached.

The nav menu has appeared on the template. It would seem that I can now create any menu and link it to this menu module to display as the topmenu. Thanks for your help.

You use j1.7 , there is no menu style selection , clear the menu class suffix field.
