Contacts Layout

I have used Hot events on a J1.5 site before and the contacts in a category layout gives a nice view in columns showing name, position, email etc then each user appears as a new line under the headings, in J3.3 it shows the contacts as name (new line) position (new line) email all grouped together.

How can I change the view show it shows the list format of J1.5

Sorry misunderstood, you are talking about contact category layout - right?

Yes correct - the layout in a contacts category

Copy .php files form:

components\com_contact\views\category\tmpl\

to:

templates\hot_events\html\com_contact\category

to make overrides, then edit that overides
