Hello

I purchased the hot events template which comes with the hot joomla zoomer module.

On my site: 107.21.232.60 , the hot joomla zoomer navigation bar doesn't work in IE8 when I set the animation to "slide" (so I changed it to "fade" for the moment - which does work).

Specifically the text appears to scroll off the page (so nothing is visible except in the brief moment of transition from one text to the nexT). But interestingly, if I hover my mouse over the text in the nav bar, the text suddenly appears.

Any idea what I can do to fix it? Fade just doesn't look as good as slide...

Regards,

HK

Okay I changed it back to "slide" so you can take a look. Let me know when I can change it back.

Hi, I can not test that. I have ie9 on all my computers and it' compatibility is IE7.

You can force only Ie8 to work like Ie7. In index.php of template in head section before fist tag add this:
Code:
<!--[if IE 8]> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7"> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/> <![endif]-->
