If you use "folder with images" for content source you can not have descriptions. You can use category as content source, then you can create one category for carousel and create articles for that category containing image and some text as description.

ok then... if i use CONTENT SOURCE and use a category for carrousel, where do the carrousel take the images?

i mean, where do i hace to save the images? in some folder in especific or in the articles?

It will display what is in article, so you just put image inside of article content.

That is actually not true Ivan - as default the carousel uses the images from this directory http://yoursite/images/stories/demo/carousel_pro/nameoftheimage.jpg - so how can we change the carousel to use images from an article?

you can select content source to be images from folder - not form article , articles list or articles from category so 3 types of content source. Aad if you want to have any text you can not use images with folder , you need to make articles with that images and add that text somehow - that was the point.
