Home Page Padding was created by morgieb13
Hello, I am currently in the process of building (via localhost) a website for my university's campus ministry center. I am loving the template so far, however have run into a few hiccups. First, my articles were getting cut off at the bottom - I found out from other topics though that this is because my flashes menu was a different size on interior pages. I can live with that, although it would be great if this was fixed! But my current problem is...

Whenever a menu item is designated as the home page, the padding on that page somehow changes. I am trying to make my home page have some content on it other than the flashes menu (probably will do a category blog), but it looks terrible without the normal padding. I've attached some pictures of a random example- the first one is just a regular article page, and the second one is what happened when I made that page the home. Help? :/

Correction: The image entitled "pic-1.jpg" is what the page normally would look like, and the image entitled "pic.jpg" is what happens when it is designated as home (when the issue with padding occurs)

that could depend on menu item type - probably there is some special css rules for Front Page Layout. You should send us link so we could help you. Also on pictures you sent I can not see difference, can you mark problematic areas

Unfortunately I don't have a link because the site is not web hosted, I am building it via localhost at the moment. I can attach the css files here though if that will help. I've attached a new picture with red boxes to indicate the problem areas - where there is not the usual amount of padding.

Without an link you will have to find problem in css yourself. Use chrome browser "Inspect Element" function. In debugger below you can test css properties values and see form which file rule come, or where you should add something.
