urls

Hi,

one question - I started with the demo content and changed menu & category names etc., but joomla still applies for example /styles/...the new slug or /typography/...the new slug to the urls, even though those catogories and menu entries (and the former main menu) don't exist anymore.

How comes this and is there a way to get around this?

Enter each menu item, clear (or write custom) alias field then save

..that's what usually works. In this case it did not, that's why I am asking. Anyway - I just shifted to not using the Joomla SEF urls, because it just looked to weird with the /styles... etc. in the urls because that's got nothing to do with the actual contents of the real site anymore.
