Hi,

I have successfully installed the templates through HotStart in a subdomain in my server.
When I tried to install it through Joomla! Extention Manager, the flash menu doesn't work properly.
That probably means I have made a [strike]messy[/strike] incomplete instalation.

The logo in the top also doesn't show up, nor does the the hover effect on the buttons.
Also, when I hover a root menu item the drop-up doesn't seem to appear, nor are accessible. It is still possible to click the root menu items, and they work properly.

Other curious effect of my failed instalation is in the template manager. When I open the template under the template manager, the names of the parameters all look like TPL_HOT_FLASHES_LABEL_WIDTH, as you can see in the attached image.

It looks like I have the incorrect paths to some files, but I triple checked them. No luck reseting the file permissions back to 755 and 644.

Also, I must say that I actually used HotStart to install Joomla, but then I had to uninstall the template through the Extension Manager, to try and reinstall it after some changes. So, modules and menus are in the right places. I also installed the mods that came in the zip file (gallery and carrousel, iirc), also through the extension manager.

Will try to find where I messed up, and post here if I find it.

info:
I'm using Joomla 2.5

Yes, with 644 permission, and it contains the following text:
Warning: Spoiler!

Thank you for your reply!

Edit:
It's actually working again. All I did was installing it again (without uninstalling the prior). When I tryed reinstalling (remove & reinstall) it didn't work. But installing it over the old one did the trick. If you want the superuser or ftp to try to discover out what was going on feel free to ask!

Oten- I see you have not progressed much on this site and the content items in the menu are not linking to anything; is this something you have not managed to solve?

Thanks.

No, not really. The template/extensions are easy to use and most are fool-proof. I simply have not updated the website in quite a while, will return to this one, eventually.
