Joomla / K2 guy needed.

New to Joomla, purchased this template as I loved the look and feel, installed using all the demo info. and now it is just a nightmare. I want to edit some current pages, but have the address of these links to be different, in other words, If the demo model is: Julia Saner

The url should be something like yoursitename/Julia Saner not the huge long one we have now in the demo, as this looks like hell when tweeted, and I m sure not great for SEO as well.

another example is contact page, current one in demo is, yoursitename.com//features/joomla-stuff/contact

" I could probably use this, edit it and live with it, but would like to have control to edit anything I want with the template I had purchased of course, Hell, I don't even know how to add a page,, or, I cant find it after I do anyway.

I am told I need a add-on installed called: sh404sef , some joker on here wants $80.00 to install/configure it??

yea, almost 3 times more than what the template cost. ( really - he's nuts ! )

I am looking for someone, Reasonable, to do some work, and show me the basics ( how to make a new page, and a new or additional model pages )

Why are there no docs for this?

If you can do this install / configure for $15 - $20.00 , cool, there's more I need after that as well.

I love the template, but, I am about to just scrap it and go back to word press shortly as this takes too much time to edit/change the demo items on it currently.

Thank you for you compliments, no matter it is just component installation sh404sef requires at least 2h to set all properly and price is based on that time. If you budget is like that you can try some of freelancing sites to find suitable technical support partner.

it seems this template will most likely be no use to me as it needs too much work to edit current content.

If I decide to attempt this myself, is there any documentation on how or what needs to be done to configure this?

That is actually not related to template so we don't have such instructions. You dont have to use sh404sef any one that can allow you to custom define urls and you find instructions you can handle will do

Maybe this should be added in new release to help others like myself who has paid.

That is simply not our product so it is unreasonable to put instructions for it. That is popular component usually all SEO technicians use it you can find lot of instructions on google
