Hi. I've installed the HOTel template, but am getting an error when attempting to edit or add any menu items:

Most likely, you did not upload all HotStart files properly. I recommend Filezilla for FTP uploads.

Is it happening in Joomla backend? If yes, please send access (use Report to Moderator button).

hi Milos... thx for reply. I used Filezilla, and did notice a couple write errors during upload, but copied those files over again at the time.

Yes, error is in admin. eg:

www.toybert.com/administrator/index.php?...inmenu&task=edit&cid []=224

(looking for Report to Moderator button in forum... will post in a second)

If your hosting file manager supports zip unpacking you can just send whole hot_start zip and unpack it there, that way you will be absolutely sure all files are there.

If I upload all the files again, won't I lose all the content and template changes I've made so far? Can you recommend which files will be most likely needing to be check?

(trying to avoid starting over)

thx, Adam

If you only upload files, you won't lose data from database (articles, module settings, menu settings, etc.). It will only overwrite all Joomla files. Make sure you don't upload folder /installation from the HotStart package.
