Arite, I'm a noob when it comes to Joomla, but I've managed to get my page mostly up and running based on your hot hotel template here. But I've got a question;

A lot of the articles I've made was based on the demo articles meaning that the links that I now have on my live page points to

htt p://mywebsite.no/index.php/typography/prisliste-2012
htt p://mywebsite.no/index.php/features/template-features/aviano-i684p-spesifikasjoner

as an example. Question is, how do I get it to link directly to the article?

I've got no idea how, where and when to delete the "/typography/" or the "/features/template-features/" directories as shown in the examples above, so please give me a heads up!

Thanks in advance! :)

Change category alias if you want to change "typography".

To get direct link you must have article associated with menu item (it's not needed to display every menu). When you enter menu item config it will show you direct link below alias field.

Hmm.. I am not sure I understand you correctly, let me illustrate this witha couple of images;

I have made Categories (In this case the category is Biler (Cars in Norwegian)) and assigned this category to my article. (image 1)

Still when I save this and take a peak at my article live, it's still showing the "wrong" path to my article.

After spent hours on this now I simply can't get my head around how this is built up! Halp! ^^

No,no. Enter category list, then category settings.
Also no, for other question, go to menu manager, select menu where your item is places and enter it's settings.

Hi again,

Thanks! You got me in the right direction here and I somehow got it sorted. As the image shows it was sat up as a External url with a javascript as a link, which made things a tad hard to get around for me :)

In order to get this sorted I think I'll need to set the Menu Item type as Single article (Even though I dont want anything linked from that menu position) and then have a link sat to it. I see no other way around it at the moment, maybe you can give me a better option? :)

Edit:
Got it sorted! By reversing it as it was after I had the chance to change alias it's not working as intended! :)

Thanks for your time mister! It's very appreciated!
