Contactform

Hi all together,

i`m working with joomla 2.5 on my on pc.
Now ich have the following problem:

don`t know how to find the contact - form and get it on a site or on the footer.

could anyone help, please

This is done using module Rapid Contact (attached here, version 16 is for Joomla 1.6 and above). You can install it automatically if you do HotStart installation. You can also install just the module yourself, but all settings and modifications you must do yourself as well in this case.

I´m just working in the moment only with joomla on localhost, without live hosting.

could you tell me, which form ist the right one for the contactform on an extra site?

sorry, misunderstanding.

Question is, can i extend the regular contactform?
add some other areas with for example: arrival, departure (this also with a small calender to pick out the date), adress, etc.
at normally for a hoteltemplate it should be standard to have buttons for arrival and departing at the contactform, isn`t it?

and could i add a spamprotection? like a captcha or something like this?

You have options to add some custom fields for registration in j1.6 and later, if j1.5 you would have to modify contact form override in template html folder. Also there are free 3rd party components with nice features you can use.
