how do i create a horizontal menu

how do i create a horizontal menu was created by godot

i try to make a horizontal menu in position user1, i always get a list with bullets :S
i allready put nav-pills with and without space at the menu-class suffix, but it doesn't work
can anybody help me?

In menu module settings set Menu Tag ID = nav
