Can you install it on localhost then copy files and db to your hosting. You just need to edit configuration.php for database parameters, tmp and log path

Thanks Ivan, it worked. but it's a long process :S : setup of WAMP, export-import of database and the upload itself takes a lot of time.

I wonder why it cannot be done directly on the remote server.
