Problem with Hotsportal Template

Hi

We purchased a hotsportal template by you.
And we find some difficulties. We have choosen for style 1 of the template.
in this template we want to make small colour changes like the scroller header colour and
the buttons in carrousel matching our logo's

If you go to template manager and change this colours this dont take any effect on the website
only if you put the site on custom but then the site is almost unrecognizable in how we like style 1

How can you keep with style one, and just change small things to match you house color.
