Menu not rendered correctly was created by martinst
I've defined a menu and placed a corresponding module in the position user3. In the template parameters, "Drop-down menu" is selected. However the menu is not properly rendered.
Interestingly enough it looks different on m-i-b.se/index.php and m-i-b.se/

It looks the same for me on both links. Please install HotStart to get menu configured automatically. Otherwise, you must tweak the options yourself.

I am having a similar issue (see attached file). The top menu appears as a vertical list.
What "tweaks" do I need to do to fix this? I've already installed Joomla! so I don't want to install HotStart. I have already added content to other pages and do not want to have to redo all that work for a simple template.
Thanks

Whoops, sorry. The site blocked the tiff file.

Figured it out.
I forgot to add "_mainmenu" to the menu class field for the module.

Hi dear,
I got the same problem with menu, I alredy installed the site and template and I can't re-installa hot start. How can I configure the menu in order to have the same appearance as in the template demo. Thanks.
