Hello,

I tried to customize the look and feel of the template, something worked (i.e. logo image), some other not, or maybe I missed something:

1. I tried to change the background image using the "style design feature", "body background, selecting one of the three default loaded images (bg.jpg, bg2.jpg, bg3.jpg), but after saving and getting the ok from the system, the background image didn't change on the the site
--> can you tell me please if i missed something to change the backgroud? (and how to use one of my own pictures instead the default bg/bg2/bg3)

2. I tried to customize the main central window of the template (i mean the one that helds Left, abovecontent, belowcontent and Right, and that in Style 1 uses "bg_paper.jpg" as background and "heading_bg.jpg" as heading), but I didn't find where those files are set inside the template management, it seems that even if there is a style designer, the only way to change look and feel without programming is change the name of the files inside the folder
--> how to customize this main window (how to load personal picture for what is currently "bg_paper.jpg" and "heading_bg.jpg")?

3. I've got a look on the "select style" feature, all is working for style 1, 2 and 3, but here after a couple of questions:
3a. is there the chance to set up different customized styles using personal pictures?
--> and if yes how to do that? (i.e. setting up style one with a personal background, personal main window (the one of the point 2 below)
3b. selecting style 4 or 5, the result is a blank web page, what are these for?

Thanks in advance

Roberto

You need to put your images inside template's /images folder
You can edit <template folder>/styles/styleX.php where X is number of style
There are only 1-3 available for that template , that is why you get blank pages for 4 and 5

Thanks ivan, it works, but what is the scope of the function "BodyBackground" of the Style Designer if we need to modify the php files to get look and feel customizing results?

and ... inside the styleX.php file there is also customization for links color, also present inside the style designer feature of the template management

--> what is the scope of such parametrization possibility via Joomla administration template panel if we need to modify the php files?

thanks again

What do you mean by "scope"

If you use pre-defined style then values form it take advantage to parameters in template manager.
