Hi,
I don't believe I have made any changes to the main menu settings, but now the drop downs don't display and no menu appears when I look at the website on my iPhone. Also, and this is bizarre, I now have a second installation of the template "Hot Wine" in the list of templates.
Do you have any idea what could cause these three changes? They have all happened since I installed XMap (which I put on all my Joomla websites) and the plugin CUpdater (which I put on many of my Joomla websites).
The site is www.plantationfresh.com.au . View with username ranjit and password 2thedoor
Thanks,
Julia.

Maybe you need to configure menu options under template options, them "Menu configuration". XMap uses data from db for menu items maybe it disturbed something.
(You can replicate original settings from site you say they appear normal on)

Hi Ivan,
My configuration for main menu is exactly the same in both "instances" of hot_wine. However I made a discovery today. I changed the user menu from drop down to vertical. User menu comes with Hot Start, but I don't actually need it for my client so I was using it to try different menu styles. Changing it from drop down to vertical caused another instance of hot_wine to appear in my templates list. The new instance has a main menu that works fine (responsive, drop downs appear etc.).
I tested my theory by changing user menu back from vertical to drop down today. Now I have 3 instances of hot_wine in my templates list! See image attached.
Maybe this is happening because of my XMap installation - I don't know. How do I prevent this from happening, and is it safe to uninstall redundant instances of hot_wine? (In cPanel there is only one installation of hot_wine.)
Thanks,
Julia.

Maybe it is because of XMaps, it think it should not be problem to delete excess ones.

Hmm, curious behaviour with XMap. Since the extra instances of the template are not identical (eg the menu dropdowns and responsive view don't work on one instance) I had better test carefully before removing any.
